Jill is a member of
JMVA is a virtual assistant business, owned and managed by Jill McLachlan.
JMVA
was founded in 2009 after Jill decided that a change of career
was needed, after looking at various options she came across
the Virtual Assistant Industry and decided that this was what
she wanted to do.
After successfully completing her VA Mastery course she
researched the various business tools required for running her
own business, in January 2009 Jill became self-employed and
JMVA was born.
Jill has been providing secretarial and PA support for the
past 15 years and at a senior Director/CEO level for the past
8 of those. Jill’s experience has given her a valuable
insight into the Construction, Manufacturing, Moving and
Corporate Relocation industries. She has developed a
good understanding of the organisational requirements of
Senior Vice Presidents and CEO’s of large companies as well as
working with smaller family businesses.

I took Jill on as my part time
PA just over a year ago to manage my admin tasks as I was
frequently out of the office , in a growing business and
things were falling behind. Her regular tasks involve
her take responsibility for managing my meetings, managing my
diary, putting together standard reports, compiling and send
out engagement letters, managing my email inbox and organising
events. She does these efficiently but where I have found her
to be a complete star is my many “on the hoof” requests while
I am out and about ranging from dictating quick emails over
the phone to emergency buying of gifts for a staff
motivational evening with the brief to ensure they are
relevant and amusing!
She has strong IT skills and her effective use of Office, with
mail merges and PowerPoint designs, saves me hours of wasted
time.
Jill is totally unflappable, always cheerful and a pleasure to
work with. She is a real asset to my business.
